Broad Ideas is a feminist show that has taken place annually since March of 2018.
Join in celebrating the opening night for this special show that honors women's stories, told through visual art and the written word.
Broad Ideas purposely includes a wide range of ideas, artists, abilities, and events. Simply put, this show is for anyone that supports women, inclusion, equity, and the arts.

The Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (JDIFF) is a premiere Midwest event showcasing independent films from around the world and will be in Galena for a festival pre-event, in partnership with Galena Country Tourism, starting on Friday, April 8th, 5:00 PM with an outdoor film on Green Street Plaza.
Films will continue all day on Saturday, April 9th, in the DeSoto House Hotel's Smith and Parker rooms from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM and with a closing film outside again in the Green St. Plaza that evening.
Films will be a mix of Documentaries, Features, and Shorts that will also be shown in the 5-day festival April 20 - 24th.
