Christmas Jazz Concert!

The
John Erickson Trio,

based in Chicago, has been delighting audiences since 2008 when it
formed to record A FEELING OF CHRISTMAS, a CD collection of jazz infused
Christmas carols and hymns.

Says Gina Vodegel of All About Jazz.com, “Familiar songs like Carol of
the Bells, Gabriel’s Message, and Silent Night all carry the
distinctive signature of the Erickson Trio which creates a whole new
universe with lush re-harmonization, extended melodies, and subtle
force. They turn traditionals into originals and lift them beyond the
holiday season.”

Remembering Old Galena

Coming November 15th, Dinner and Theater…

“Remembering Old
Galena” offers a fascinating portrait of the town’s colorful
history in an original musical production written by Galenians Ronn
Toebass and Carole Sullivan. Performing in period costumes, the singers
and actors introduce the “Town that Time Forgot” with
amusing anecdotes, intriguing nuggets of history and vivacious
song and dance.
